ABSENT VOICE

I am the loneliness
that walks
on tiptoe,
through the cracks
of the house.

Shy, sometimes,
flies through the air,
invades my bed,
uses my perfumes,
wears my dresses.

Loneliness: absent voice,
you steal my words;
you put them to the page,
you write them, you laugh
and cry with me.
