The Boundary

The boundary between sky and sea disappeared,
everything was the same transparent haze,
white frost or gray-gleaming pearls.

A boat floated in the air with a shining sail,
silent as a mirage conjured by the snow,
silent as light in a windless region

like a eucharist of light
on the tray of reposing wind.
