Wrong Path, Manolis, Crete

WRONG PATH

They sell goods that you don’t need
yet you buy
they sing cacophonies you don’t like
yet you listen too

When will you listen
to the flowers’ whisper?

They apply their external lustre
that you like to snatch from them
to become alike
they drain your brain of all logic
and you believe they enrich you
when mimicking them

When will you listen
to the finch’s song?
